We purchased our Softub in September 2005 from Scott Davidge of Sun Heating
in Gander, Newfoundland. The tub was delivered promptly and to our door by
the dealer. Set-up of the tub took no time at all and little expertise was
needed. The tub spent the winter on our outdoor deck and we used it almost
every day. While we were skeptical at first that the tub would be able to
maintain the set temperature (102°F) through the cold of winter, we were
assured by the literature, the website and the dealer that it would...and it
did.
We noticed no increase in our heating bills and did not find that the
tub needed to run for long periods of time to maintain temperature; the
insulating walls clearly do their job. The Softub is attractive, requires
little attention other than maintaining chemical balance and, occasionally,
cleaning the filter. This is the second hot tub that we have owned and the
Softub is by far the better of the two. We would recommend this product and
the dealer to anyone interested in purchasing a hottub/spa.
